Midwesterners who transplanted themselves to Chicago and have a knack for succinct rock songs with a fine sense of melody. Bass and drums push themselves to the forefront on this, their debut record. Track 3 is a standout and reminds me of someone I just can’t put my finger on. Chad Preston’s voice is slightly Robert Pollard and fans of GBV and Spoon might find this a welcome edition to their Genuis playlists.
